An Afternoon Delight

So after several sleepless nights with the baby, we decided that she must be waking up because she needs more sustenance. It was time to introduce something other than the boob juice! Here is our first attempt at giving her the most boring brown rice cereal. It went something like this...

The first bite.

Doesn't look like it's going to go so well.

"What am I supposed to do with this?"

DSC_0406
"Do you slurp it?"

Still really not sure this is a good idea.

"I think I'll stick with my fingers, they're safer (and they taste better)."

"Wow, I've got a whole mouth full."

"Maybe if I just sit here and stare off into space, he'll get the hint and stop trying to shove food in my mouth."

DSC_0419
"Yeah, so that strategy didn't work."

DSC_0429
"Here, I can share, I don't want to keep all this goodness to myself!!"

DSC_0433
"Do you think they'd notice if I fed this to Max?"

All right, that's enough, time to clean up.

Christina, these are just too darn cute! And i love the little sayings. The ones of Jenny and Andy came out really nice as well. You are doing great with the camera! Dad
