Happy Birthday To Me

So it was officially a couple days ago, but as usual I'm behind in posting. It amazes me that one year ago I got my first DSLR and fell in love with photography. And now a year later my wonderful hubby "surprised" me with ....

ooooh I'm in love *even though I still feel a bit guilty*

which also means that I now have to sell my D60. It was a great starter camera but I just outgrew it too quickly. I can't wait to really try this bad boy out!!

I got to do a mini test run when I went home over the weekend to see my family. My parents wanted to take Abriella to Chuck*E*Cheese and we had lots of fun.

and swipe the card (this was actually her favorite part, she could have just done that the whole time and been more than happy)


We even went and saw the big Cheese up close...


she wasn't too sure at first, but had grandpa to protect her...


and I even managed to sneak into a picture...


and just so you believe how cool this camera is, here is a really quick snippet of video that I took to show Eric (he was sad to not get to go with us) sorry it's kind of loud and you may have to type in Abriella

this one was just quick and nothing too special, but I have big plans for this feature :)
