A Mini Photo Shoot

I was graced with the chance to do a small photo shoot with the little miss. We were outside playing the other night, the light was getting so pretty and she said she would let me take her picture in a pretty dress!! I had to snatch the opportunity since most of the time she runs from me when I have the camera (well she runs from me without the camera too). It still wasn't an easy shoot but I love the results.

I'm so sad I missed focus on this one but I had to share because I love her cheeky little grin. It rarely comes out for pictures.

She's getting a lot better about being able to follow directions. It is funny how she processes them sometimes though. I asked her to cross her arms and put them on the chair and put her chin on them, I know that is kind of a lot and this is what I got :)

Oh, and I need to stop editing on two different computers. I can't get them to look the same. And it was a bit more than a mini share but I loved them so much :)

We're off for vacation tonight and I can't wait. It is much needed and I am so excited to take Abrie to the beach for the first time. I'm sure I'll come back with way too many pics :) Have a good weekend!

Splish Splash

We've been getting so much rain here lately. Normally they are the big storms that roll in with the dark clouds and lots of thunder and lightning. But the other day it was raining so hard but the sun was out. So Abrie and I went out to look for a rainbow. We didn't find one but she did find a puddle. She was so happy I had to grab the camera :)










Now every time it's raining she wants to go out and jump in the puddles :)

Oh, and Blogger updated a lot of things recently so I am trying out some new looks for the blog. I apologize if things look a bit crazy for a bit, the format is a lot more difficult to figure out :)

My Favorite Things

I've been neglecting my blog lately. I started making Abriella a "Quiet Book" and it has been a very time consuming but rewarding project. I have several of the pages done now and will keep adding to it for awhile. I'll have to take some pictures and share with you how it is coming.

But for now I wanted to share some of my favorite things these days :)
