It is so hard to get a decent picture of Abriella. All I really require is a decent expression looking at the camera. This is what I get...

Evening Walks

Another reason to love Spring is that most evenings are simply lovely. Abriella has been enjoying stroller rides up to the pond to see the ducks and practice her hand at skipping rocks. I decided to bring the camera along and capture another (hopefully wonderful) memory.

Eric's just a big kid too, so he loves playing along :)

Yet another reason to love spring is the flowering trees... why do they need to get leaves when they look this pretty with the flowers?

Lets Go Fly A Kite

Well maybe.

Abriella got a kite in her Easter basket and we had a nice windy day so we took it outside for a spin. This picture was about 30 seconds after stepping outside!! Luckily with a little patience we were able to get in untangled. Abriella showed about zero interest after we got it up in the air, but Eric seemed to enjoy himself :)




She was flying the kite all by herself here. About 3 seconds after this snap Eric had to go running down the big hill to catch the spool she let go.



Where did this big girl come from :(




and of course... what do you do when you're feet are getting muddy from running in wet grass? why you sit down in that same wet grass to check them out :)

Easter

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Easter. Ours was very nice, quick but nice. Abriella and I were able to spend it with my family and it was so nice to visit. We did an Easter Egg Hunt the weekend before and Abriella was so overwhelmed she asked to leave before they had even started the "hunt".

Our family hunt went a whole lot better. She loved everything about it (especially the candy)




She also had the prettiest dress that was gifted to us. She thought she was a princess in and I was even able to convince her to let me take a few pictures of her being a princess.



She loves the piano... she kept climbing up, banging a bunch of keys and singing ABC's

Getting just one more with Grandma was a bit like pulling teeth... but this pic makes up for it :)


Oh did I mention that she loves candy!!
