Vacation - Part 1

It's taken me way to long to post some pictures of our trip but I wanted to edit them all in order otherwise I knew they would never get finished. It really didn't take me all that long considering that I took and edited over 300 pics :) A little excessive I'm sure! Anyways I finally get to share some and don't want to overload too much so I'll share part today and part tomorrow. If anyone is actually interested in seeing all the pics I'll post a link tomorrow.

Overall we had a really nice trip. It started out on a bad note with having the little (or big) black storm cloud follow us our entire drive. The little miss did great in the car but could not sit still for anything after that which meant not so fun meals out with her.

Our first day at the beach was nice and warm but overcast, which was great for me because I was able to sit out and not get overheated. The water was freezing and the waves were huge which meant that Eric was the only one who ventured into the water, and has battle scars to prove it. After about 2 hours at the beach Abrie packed up all her things and headed back to the boardwalk. I asked her what she was doing and she just announced she was going home!

She did have fun though, she found an umbrella and sat herself down under it and dug and played for quite awhile.

That night we went to a nice restaurant where you were able to go on a cruise after dinner with the purchase of a meal. We had some wonderful fish there and a really nice time on the boat ride (well at least I did... Abriella fell asleep and Eric said he felt sick). Oh well...

The second day we went on another boat ride to Assateague Island to see the wild ponies. It was a really nice boat ride and the water was much calmer. Abriella wasn't though and could not sit still and kept yelling out "where are you ducks" I don't know why? We saw some of the fisher boats and one of George Clooney's houses. We also so quite a few of the ponies while we were on the boat but none when we stopped to get on the island. Abriella had fun fishing for crabs and shells but almost fell all the way in the water way too many times because she insists on doing everything herself.

In order to not crash my site and bore everyone I'll stop here for today and post a few more tomorrow! I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful 4th of July!!
