Lately the Little Miss has been really into art projects. Usually the messier the better.... it is so funny though that it takes her a minute to get into it and gets worried about getting things on her hands. As soon as she's over that though it's anyone's guess as to where it's going to go. I love that she is at an age where I can set out an art project (her art table is in the kitchen) and cook dinner mostly uninterrupted. It makes me feel good that she's doing something and not just plugged into the television. Anyways, we've been trying out a lot of different projects and most of them start with painting...
It usually starts out well enough...
but all too quickly turns into...
and of course we can't leave out the feet!!
Oh and she was painting the tube to put aluminum foil and rice in to make a rainstick. She loved the painting and filling it with rice but really has no desire to use it as a rainstick... oh well.
Tonight she got to clean off her treasures (rocks) to paint. She ended up using the soap bubbles to paint a beard on her chin instead of really doing much of anything to the rocks. I love the way their minds work :)
