So I said that I'd be back with more pictures from the woods. And I am, but as promised she is contained. It was the only way I could get a little cooperation. But of course getting her to look my way and actually have a decent expression was still like pulling teeth. Here are a few that I did like despite all that...

These were close to the "perfect" image I had in mind. Just need one with a cute smile or a "normal" look at me :) I'll get it one of these days.
I wanted to wish all the wonderful mothers out there a wonderfully Happy Mother's Day!! I now know how much you all deserve it :) I am surprised to say that this is my second Mother's Day; it doesn't seem like that much time has already past. But in spirit of the happy day I thought I would share some pictures that I took when my mom came to visit last week. We went to a butterfly exhibit and we both had a nice time attempting to get some pictures of the beautiful butterflies. Here are a few that I was able to capture. Hope you enjoy.

I stumbled upon this and couldn't not share. I just made me grin from ear to ear, what a great start to the day :) Remember to turn off the music at the bottom if you watch it (which you really should).

Here are a few from my latest attempt at a photo shoot. It started to rain almost as soon as we got to this spot (right down from the playground where I was going to let her play if she was good :) well she wasn't very good and it started to rain, so oh well). I only took 6 shots, which never happens, and thought that these two turned out ok. I plan to go back when it's nicer out and stick her in a basket, or suitcase, or flower pot :) so she can't run away!!
I really liked this one, even though she's not looking at me. She was doing the itsy-bitsy spider :)

This was what she was doing most of the time, well usually running the opposite direction of me but still, not cooperating.
And I just had to share this one. Abriella and I were out doing some errands last weekend and we saw all these little goslings walking across the parking lot. I've never seen this many before. Aren't they cute!
The day finally arrived. Elmo Live Day!! Well it was actually last Sat. and Abriella had so much fun. She squealed so loud when we finally made it into the auditorium after all the fighting with the manager. (I hate Kentucky) They wouldn't let us take our camera in and so these are the only shots that we were able to get of the best day of her life!! watching Elmo's World to get ready for the fun day!!

I just loved this dress and couldn't wait for her to wear it, she was less than thrilled with the pic though!
This is my new all time favorite pic of the baby girl. She never uses a paci so I have no idea why she stuck it in her mouth but it makes her look so sweet and still a little bit little. The color is my fave but I'm also in love with the b/w.
And now for the show... She was so in awe of real live Elmo. She was dancing (which for her is swinging her arms back and forth and clapping) and then throughout the show she would throw her head back and put her arm up in the air with one finger pointing up. I think she was thanking God for bringing her to see her true love! :) I am still so devastated that I didn't get any pics of this because (if you couldn't tell) pictures are such an important part of my life. But anyways... How do you like the exploding Big Bird :)
And finally, the excitement took so much out of her. She *gasp* fell asleep in the car. So sweet!!
