Flowers and Cheerios and Piggie Tails, Oh My

Just to warn you I have lots of pics I want to share so I hope you enjoy large pictures posts :)

I love spring, I think it just my be my favorite season. I just wish we were actually to experience it. So far this spring has brought snow, warm weather along with rain, 90 degree heat (no fun) and them some more rain. I want a sunny 65 degree day with a nice gentle breeze, is that so much to ask for? Anyways, here are a few more flowering tree pics from the day that was closet to the one I described.

I love this one and would make it my computer background if I didn't insist on having Miss Abriella's picture on there.








I also have to share how big my little baby is getting. Eric said to me the other day that there really isn't much baby left in her which of course made my heart hurt just a little. But it's so true. She now tells us what she wants (quite forcefully at times), runs around, and even now has hair enough to have these:

She's also big enough to throw tantrums and run away. I had all these wonderful images in my head of some spring pictures of her and this is all I got...
this would have been ok without the leaf, but then she wouldn't have stayed there for 0.00002 seconds.

I actually really like this one, but I won't zoom in to show you what her face really looks like because then you might not like it anymore.


It looked something like this "if you take one more picture, I'm going to get you with this stick" face. Attitude much!?!

ok, this one is actually really cute :)

but no matter how big and ornery she gets I'll always love her so much, and probably even more (if that's possible) I mean who could not love this?

Little Baby C

I was lucky enough to get to take photos of adorable little miss C when she was just 3 weeks old. I learned so much!! She was so cute and tiny, it makes me wish I had some pictures like this of Miss Abriella. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Spring Has Finally Sprung

At least I hope so. I've been waiting to post these pictures for at least two weeks but everytime I go to do it it's either snowing or just plain cold and rainy and doesn't feel like spring at all. But today it's 60 and sunny so here's hoping it stays this way!!

A Little Bit Vintage

I had really wanted to do another photo shoot with Abriella in her beautiful asian outfit from her Aunt Kristen and set up this shoot and thought the pictures looked great on my camera and then uploaded them to my computer. Her hair was glowing yellow!!! Lesson learned, don't wear a bright yellow shirt to take pictures. So I was frantically trying to edit them to get them to look right and I wasn't having much success. I also just attempted to calibrate my monitor and everything looks kind of wacky. Then I stumbled upon a wonderful action, from a photographer I really look up to, and I tried it out and voila!! It saved me. Hopefully you enjoy them too!!

I don't have a lot of variety because this is they face that she wants to make all the time.


It doesn't help that when I say "smile" she thinks I'm saying smell, and this is what I get.

And a pic of they only way I was able to get her to stay there for more than .25 seconds.... Cheerios!!

A Whole Latte Pink

This wasn't a planned out photo shoot. It was more of a "oh, you're up from your nap, you're playing in your room, let's attempt some pics" type of photo shoot. Which means that I didn't really pick an outfit to go with everything else, so that means that everything is pink!! I don't know what it is about little girls, but I feel like she always needs to have something pink (maybe it's because I got so many "what a cute little boy" comments) but I think I might have overdone it a bit. What do you think?

She was determined not to look at me, I didn't win very often.

I really really wanted a shot like this and this was the closet I got to it. The elmo barrette was much more interesting (and the only way I could get her to sit still).

This one is completely out of focus, but it's the uh-oh I pulled my bow out now I'll try to put it back in real quick shot, she's notorious for this move.

For these next ones, she just learned how to sniff so this is what you get when you ask her what she smells!!








This cracks me up so much because somehow she sucks her upper lip up so it completely blocks her nose rendering her completely unable to smell!! What a goof.

What do you think of the pink though, do your eyes hurt yet!! Mine did when I tried to edit them without her ending up as pink as everything else. As always, thanks for looking!!
