Abriella's 6th Birthday

*This is a picture heavy post. I apologize if it takes forever to load. 

Abriella turned 6. I don't know quite how it happened, but the girl who made me a mommy is now 6. I now have a 6 year old, a 3.5 year old and a 6 month old. Wow!! I'm still not sure how I feel about all that. 

Abriella was so excited to have her enchanted princess tea party birthday party. It was her first big girl, school friends party and she couldn't wait. Several of her friends didn't show up so that was a bit disappointing but it was a nice little group and they really got doted upon. 

They were gearing up for the fun. 

 To start the party they entered Narnia. They met Aslan and got their pictures taken all dolled up in white boas on the sleigh.

We then entered the fairies world and Abriella was presented several gifts. The first was a beautiful fairy ballerina jewelry box.

And then the crown.

And finally the key that opened the secret door upstairs. 

This magic key opened the door to the princess tea party with all of their little friends. 

Oliver wasn't a huge fan of the party, but did participate in the tea party a bit. 

She then used her magic key to open up another room. 

The dress up room!!

They got lip gloss. 

Bracelets. 

And hats. 

Someone likes to pose. 

They spent awhile dressing up and doing a fashion parade. 

Got pixie dusted.

 And then opened the door to the final room.

Birthday cupcake time.

She told her friends that they could help her blow out the candles. 

Her friends got a little excited and blew the candles out first... we relit them. 

Happy birthday, baby girl. You are such a sweet, smart young lady and I am so proud to be your mommy. What a year it has been, starting kindergarten, growing in independence. I can't wait to see what the next year brings.
